Sports
Massage
The
purpose of sports massage is to help alleviate the stress and
tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissues during physical
activity. Where minor injuries occur, due to overexertion and/or
overuse, massage can break them down quickly and effectively.
The massage will help prepare the athlete for peak performance,
drain away fatigue, relieve swelling, reduce muscle tension, promote
flexibility, and prevent injuries.
Depending on whether you are in need of pre-event or post-event
massage, techniques used are stretching, compression, range of
motion exercises, and specific Swedish massage. 90 minute $90,
1 hour $70, ˝ hour $40
